@JP, yes, it’s a different animal, altogether. It’s something new to the corporate world, especially here in the Philippines

@Maita, I think they’re doing it in batches–and they let someone from within the blogging community do the rounding up of bloggers. So one can expect that the participants would most likely be in the circle of friends/online contacts of those involved.

As for WIZ vs AA, WIZ is better since you can connect using different means. I think they’ve integrated WIZ into WorldPass–so if you have Globe DSL, you can use your account for dialup (say you’re not at home), for WiFi and even abroad. But here, AA has more hotspots, and the service is cheaper by about 15% (the prepaid).

Hmm, wondering why Innove marketing guys didn’t post blog invites among the wider blog community, as they may get up- and-coming influencers even from among non A-lister probloggers. They can always pre-qualify via the usual registration process, di ba? Well, if there is another blogger meet soon, would love to go.:)

By the way, J Angelo, what are the pros and cons of getting Globe WIZ as against Airborne Access? I’m getting a wireless subscription (the Globe Center people told me to call Innove about it, couldn’t explain why I should get WIZ!?!)but not sure which would be best value for money.
