Have you guys check out PostieCon at all? Seems like it would be the kind of conference that would really appeal. I have been blogging since 1999 and get thousands of hits a day and only now am I making 25 or so/day with AdSense... I can't even imagine making hundreds a day. Hoping I might be able to score some ideas.

Selling a blog feels like giving one of your child to be adopted by someone else, if it started out a personal blog.

Building blogs then selling them is like cloning your child with a few genetic engineering tricks to suit the price or the market then offering it up for adoption.

Great post. I don’t think I want websites, particularly blogs, being exchanged, sold, and traded like paper bills. Especially if the writers change, because they are ~50-100% the image/branding/personality of the blog. (Group blogs don’t count.)
