we need more intellectual people on tv doing interviews helping viewers become ‘more aware, more understanding, more knowledgeable’ – not turn them dumber.

of all people, they had joey interviewing. it’s pathetic. just bec someone is opinionated, doesn’t necessarily mean his eligible to interview.

They do have to dumb it down to the level of Mel and Joey viewers, right? Those people have probably never heard “wordpress” their entire lives and a comprehensive discussion would’ve caused a few aneurysms to pop. hehe.

A tech show interview (err… ano nga ba tech shows ngayon?) may be the real big break.

Tumpak. Some broadcast journalists, including my prof in broadcast writing in an MA course I took last year said TV dumbs down news. That’s a fact. But to actually take the interview out of context is a totally different issue. Blogging remains a topic that only that few people really understand. If they think this is a racket, I should be earning more right now!? Hmmm..haha.

Nailed right in the head ‘boss’!

I’m on the same page as jepoy, who’s jaime jacob? Does he blog too?

I was struck by when I saw the video, Yuga was like one of those poster boys for some product on home TV shopping (no offense po) which really bummed the topic. Sad and disappointing really.

Now I’m beginning to worry about how my words will come out when Probe TV airs its broadband feature this coming Wednesday. Good Lord!
