Darren Rowse of ProBlogger fame narrates his journey to becoming a problogger.

It took time (years), discipline, and a lot of guts. Problogging is not some get-rich-quick scheme some people consider it to be (unless, perhaps, you’re a frickin’ content-scraper living off the work of others).

I know from some of the comments and emails that I get that some people come to this blog and see the few posts that I’ve written about how much I earn and see blogging as a get rich quick kind of thing but don’t see the full picture – so I thought I’d document it a little more.

True. Just like any writing- or arts-related career or business, blogging for profit requires dedication and patience. There’s no magic formula. You have to work for your success!
