Yahoo’ed my name, and a profile came up in page four.  It’s

from the III-6 Webpage. I remember my sister, Monica, authoring this

site using all-too-manual tools like MS Frontpage and Adobe Photoshop (umm, both pirated?).

Ahh, those were the days.

I wonder how she’d react if she found out this is still under public

domain.  Well, I keyed in the URI as a testimonial under

her Friendster account–I wonder if she’ll approve it.

In fact, I wonder how her classmates would react if they found out

their profiles (and even better: photos) way back in Junior high school year are still available online.

So now this supports my thinking that the internet is not only about

making available dynamic and updated-by-the-minute information.

It also serves as a good archive by which we get to look back at time

past–some sort of a time capsule (dependent on the reliability and

availability of the host/server).

I posted last March on finding links related to me or my work, and I feel the same nostalgia now.

Update – 1300H April 11, 2005,

Monica requested me to remove the links due to sheer

embarassment!  I had to oblige. )   I had quite a laugh

already, so I thought, “why not?”

Think science. Science think.
