The Seattle Times writes on Chris Pirillo: In geek world, he’s a celebrity.
Search up “Chris” on most search sites like Google and Yahoo! and his site would be #1.
A search for “Angelo” doesn’t do much good. But try keying in
“jangelo” or “J. Angelo” (w/o the quotes) and I’ll be #1. But
then again, that’s not as generic as “Chris” or “Angelo” would be. So much for #1, huh?
The Pirillo effect. What’s
striking for me is the article’s first paragraph, which states that if
you write about Chris, he will most likely show up on your blog and
leave a comment. Pretty cool for a guy with celeb status in the
online world. Gotta start reading up on his content (I’m an avid
listener and reader of his erstwhile TechTV/Call for Help colleague Leo Laporte).
