This could be the mother of all Web controversies this year.

So far, as of this posting, we see no official response from DIGG yet, other than the fact that the posting seems to have been buried. But it’s continually being DUGG and comments keep a-coming. Same goes with the FG article by Jacob that started it all.

Update: Yuga has a roundup of relevant posts:

* Digg Army: Right in Line
* Digg Corrupted: Editor’s Playground, not User-Driven Website
* Digg being abused
* The trouble with DIGG
* Digg Army at Binary Bonsai
* Corruption? The House of the Digg Elite
