A couple of months back, I posted that I’ve started pro-blogging. While I’m not earning most of my income from my own blog revenues (i.e. AdSense–I get checks once every couple of months or so, so that’s not much), I’ve been writing for a foreign company specializing in content-production and development. In my case, I’ve been maintaining several blogs for them in exchange for a considerable compensation (by Philippine standards), which is at par with what Abe would consider to be in the A-Okay range for blog ad revenues.

I’ve also been introduced to other content-development and/or copywriting services, and I might be trying them out soon. It’s not the same as having passive income from ad revenues, and one tends to be busy with all the topic and theme ideas you have to come up with. But it pays the bills. And I can work wherever, whenever I please (no 9 to 5 for me), and I get to work on my other personal projects at the same time. If you’re interested in being able to work on your own projects while earning a regular income at the same time, then maybe this line of work is for you.

Then, of course, there are the blog networks and team blogs I’m part of–still have to see how much that will get me, but I’m pretty sure they’re worthwhile endeavors.

I thought I’d share the information with others who might be interested, so if you think writing is for you, then send me a note so I can refer you to my contacts.
