In my honest opinion, walang kwenta itong mga prepaid HSPA modems na ito. Aside from limited ang connection time ko eh unreliable pa ang connection madalas. I tried comparing their reliability with that of the canopy technology na gamit ng SmartBRO & hands down winner pa rin.

Yun nga lang, sa bahay with this type of technology.

good review.

na pa open line ko na din tattoo ko. in my area smart sucks bad. ang bagal at hindi makasagap ng WCDMA or HSDPA signal. pero sa globe meron ako both gprs and 3g connection. masaya ako sa globe pero i think NAG DEDEPENDE TALAGA YUNG LOCATION PARA MALAMAN KUNG MABILIS O MABAGAL CONNECTION NYO.

Got myself a Globe Tattoo USB Modem plugit (Huawei E1552) for Php895 with free Php300 load (15hrs internet).

About the connection: I get EDGE signal (2bars) inside the house, and an HSDPA Signal (3bars) near the window. That counts to 25Kbps (EDGE) to 134Kbps (HSDPA) Download rates.

As a rule, LOCALITY is a consideration for the signal stability.

And now for the fun part, I had it unlocked (search it in internets on how), and viola! an openline USB modem. Now I can use Smart(which gives me constant HSDPA signal and much faster DL/UL rates than Globe) and SUN Sims alternately whenever I need a better signal whereever I may be.

So, i bought is bang for my buck. Cheaper prices, had it openlined. It must be good!

I definitely agree with you. my gosh, you haven’t even started yet, kinain na yung credits mo! nakaka-imbyerna tlga. hindi lahat ng consumers ng globe taga manila. sana naisip nila yun bago nila inilabas sa market. aside from that, globe broadband’s service is only good for the first 3 months. after that, pagnakaproblema ka na sa kanila aabutin ka ng 10days bago magkaron ng action.
mga walang kwenta pa kausap ang nasa costumer service, puro kulang sa almusal at mga ignorante. wag kayo paloloko sa globe na yan. abot mo ang mundo?? feeling ko nga, kahit pintuan ng bahay nyo, hindi pa nila maabot…

hey guys, need help. coz kanina i load 110 for my globe visibilty sim then i started browsing but after 30 minutes i DISCONNECTED….! AND WHEN I CHECK MY BALANCE its only 20 peso left, on my account my gosh,, i just bought my load a minute before i started browsing,, so just want to ask if it really happening to other too.. kc its cost too much di ba,,, or should i need to report this to GLOBE …. pls,, give me advice,,,
