Lyndon Gregorio of Beerkada fame is launching his fifth book.

I
had the pleasure of meeting Lyndon for the first time a couple of weeks
ago (though I must admit I always tried to get to meet him whenever he
made his rounds of book-signing at UP, but academics got in the way
).  He happens to be an i.PH blogger and I thought I’d consult on
how we can make things better for artists like him.  Feedback was
good.  And I can see that there have been pretty hot discussions
in his blog (particularly the tagboard).

I’ve been reading Beerkada since it debuted in the late 1990’s.  I was still a student at UP Diliman back then, and boy could I relate.

I can say that this is one dedicated artiste!  He knows what he wants, and he goes for it.

I am also proud to say I bought the first ever copy of Go-Beerkada
(autographed and signed # 00001) from the author himself.  Scanned
copy of Lyndon’s depiction of me (along with Beerkada character Glen)
to follow.
