@Mikey, so what’s the personal response? That’s the official response, right?

@Mia, there are people who are all right with using what’s available to them. I think that’s the intent with i.PH—that everything would be point-and-click. However, the issue is that people tend to have difficulties finding out which to point-and-click to do what they want to happen.

@Corsarius, yep. I remember being on top at Google for some keywords like Filipino Economist, Cass Ponti (don’t ask me why!), and other less interesting ones.

Broke all the permalinks and search-engine optimizations? I can’t imagine a worse thing happening to a site groomed for search engine success. I mean, your i.ph blog did get great results in Google for a slew of keywords, right?

If ever I signed up with a blog hosting service like that, I think I too would want to be able to tweak everything to my satisfaction. I’m not very comfortable with pre-made things, good-looking as they may be.

Ia, how many people have two-letter names starting with an “I” and ending with “A”? Well, I think the concept of two-letter domains is extinct—and it’s probably because some rich guy has snapped them all up just for the fun of it, and there are just 1,296 of them per namespace.
