Gerard got an email with a photo of what is allegedly a cash coupon for attending the July 13, 2005 anti-administration protest rally in Makati. Now this smells funny. The present Makati Mayor, Mr. Jejomar Binay, is a known opponent of the present Administration.
But if it were true that the city government was paying people to
attend the rally, then this would be tantamount to misuse of public
funds.
