Still at the first iBlog Summit. Sassy Lawyer, a.k.a. Connie Veneracion, speaks on how to build a bookmark-worthy blog.
She maintained that building such a blog may depend on content, design, interactivity, and whatnot, but it’s never about luck.
She then talked about the objectives of a blog author. There are
people who blog for self-satisfaction or validation. And there
are those who have genuine interest to get a message across. And
then there are hecklers, or those who blog para mang-inis lang (i.e. there are @##holes you see in the net as much as there are those in real life).
She adds personal qualities to consider when one decides to go into
blogging, which covers comfort (after all, your blog is about you:an
expression of you), passion and dedicatio, and skills.
An interesting topic. And definitely an interesting speaker.
