Pia loves butterflies. “Fa-fa-fly,” she used to call them. Now she says “Butta-lie.”

Kids.

They’re fascinated by almost everything in their environment. From

things that fly to things that crawl (she’s still afraid of

cockroaches), to things that go beep-beep.

A curious and

imaginative mind begets the magic of child-like innocence. Somehow as

we grow up, we lose this to the worries and the stress that life’s

realities bring about.

But then again, I get to think that the

realities of life are the distractions. And what’s important is for us

to grow still deeper into that state of childlike innocence, remaining

curious and imaginative. In the end, we get to be more creative and

somehow, along the way, get past our struggles and discover better

solutions to the problems that we face.

Reality, after all, is only as good as what you make of it.

Think science. Science think.
