been browsing and looking for a fix or an explanation for this: I noticed also that the battery life on my B1256TU is short, but it got very very short, like maximum 20 minutes when I used the Globe Tattoo USB internet… is there a way to upgrade the battery pack? Using Vista also… but I don’t know how to tweak it to utilize speedstep more effectively.. If you would not mind, perhaps you can indulge me with a more “layman” way how to fix it? or maybe there’s a page I can refer to?

Thanks! love the laptop when it’s plugged though, it defeats the purpose why I got a laptop in the first place…

does speedtest adjust clock speed even on high performance power setting? or full throttle at alltime when on high performance regardless of speedstep.
