i suggest an hp pavillion laptop. buy online. it will only cost you 600-700usd. just below 30,000 PHP. and that is already a 3gb, 250 gb hdd, core 2 duo..

I’m not sure how prices are in your part of the world, but I’d reckon a HP dv series laptop would do the trick, they’re pretty good looking too. All my Acer experiences (3 laptops + another 2 in the company) are very good though, quality stuff.

Lenovo gives you pretty much computer for your money, btw. Helped a friend shop a low budget one a month ago, nice C2D processor, 2 GB RAM and everything, for a very good price. I’m impressed. Good screen too.
