Just today, I wasn’t able to get my google payment through WU .. because they want me to produce another ID. I told them I won’t be able to get the ID immediately and the transfer transaction might expired (a month or 2? ). have my school ID (not yet validated) and alumni ID but still they don’t want to entertain me. Ahhhhrrrggghhh!!!

Why do they need two IDs for 2000? I receive my money (albeit not from Google; some writing job) from that particular WU branch. At first, they needed a copy of my Birth Certificate since I am still 17. But after that, I can already get my money there (which is usually more than 2000) using my UP ID only. Nothing else. And they never care even if my money comes from a not-so-familiar-place-to-Filipinos like Uruguay.

Ah, yes. I expected a lot of hassles with the new WU system. But I guess it’s better than having to find out that your check was stolen and encashed somewhere in Davao.

@ Jhay: School ID? Doesn’t Google require a government ID?
