The Philippine Linux Users Group has elected a new set of Board members for FY 2005-2006.

Congrats to fellow PTB blogger Clair Ching and dotPH CTO Ian Sison for making it to the leadership.  The news article says that the election for the new Board members was “punctuated by growing regional, age, technical, gender and political consciousness among the voting members.”

Others who made it to the Board (some of whom I know personallyeither met with personally or corresponded with one time or another—but most not; though I’d think they’re all good people nonetheless ;) ):

  • Berris, Dean Michael

  • Calmada, Diosdado “Dong”

  • Cimafranca, Dominique “Dom”

  • Falcone, Paolo Alexis

  • Gotangco, Jerome

  • Hao, Holden

  • Ibanez, Jan Michael “JM”

  • Pascual, Marvin

  • Sevilla, Federico III %”Jijo”
