   I’ve heard about this SMART feature. I wonder if Globe is offering it as well. I may have to really think about shifting to SMART now.

   wow. that’s more than twice the speed I get with my Smart 3G connection at home. (Dasma, Cavite) Signal is the primary factor.

   @javi, Globe offers 3G but it charges per kb i think… not sure.

   And of course you will find there what I am waiting for most: Mary’s answer! I can’t tell you, how nervous I am… Will she accept my proposal? Will she like the unusual way how she got it, through the hands of thousands of messengers all over the world?

   Please cross your fingers for me! And please – help me by sending the mail to as many people as possible, to help it spread, so that it eventually reaches Mary.

   Can you confirm the charges for SMART 3G? I heard it charges you 10 Pesos for the 1st 30 minutes (for the day) then 10 pesos every 30 minutes thereafter or for every reconnection to the network.

    by the way, how do you connect your phone to your pc for modem use? is it pairing it via bluetooth?

    i am also into ubuntu linux and it works well with my nokia 3110 classic using ppp via cable not wvdialer.

    nokia init settings is the same for all phones because i used the one set to nokia n70. so this is just the same?

    before i used to have an edge signal at home but now i just have gprs. switching to lg ku250 will be the best option i guess (affordable price). by the way lg ku250 and lg ku380 is just the same as hardware/sofware/functionality bu t different form factor (candy bar vs. slide) because i will prefer lg ku380 for its looks.

    Good a.m.. i read ur blog. I am glad that u are able to use ur LG phone as modem for ur computer. i was hoping to do the same with mine. i bought an LG KU380. i installled its suite. but i can not connect it with my computer when using the internet option. how can i configure it? i was hoping u could help me with my problem. tnx po.
