i want frisket paper but its not avaliable here, i cannot order from an online store as my customs officers hav some problems going on – dey wil frisk my orders

Hi, I didn´t know about Frisket film, so I covered my Presario laptop with kitchen variety plastic film. I cut holes for the ventilation an accesories but I’m worried about the film having a negative effect on my laptop. Do you know anything about this? I will appreciate any comments or thoughts on that. Thanx

hi, I just want to ask how can I protect my laptop from scratches? Parts which are vulnerable to scratches such as the sides, the front and the back. thanks much for the help.

and if ever there is anything that I could buy to prevent it, can you please suggest shops that sells cheap ones? thank you very much again.

I checked out my local art store and they do have frisket film. Though on the packaging, it says that it is not intended to be stuck on surfaces for prolonged periods of time. Has anyone had any problems with this?

They also have an acetate and mylar sheet, but it does not have an adhesive backing, so I’m not sure if that’s usable. What would you recommend to make it stick on the laptop if it’s like that?

Hey there. I found your solution and decided to try it. I think I even got the same kind of acetate you did from National Bookstore.

Your idea works like a charm. It’s a bit difficult to install, but at least there’s protection. Kudos!

I just wanted to say I had all these problems with my laptop. I use my wireless mouse and it left scratches on the surface of my faceplate. I decided to look for a film to use. I ended up using one for nintendo so your portable gamesystem doesn’t get scratched up. I did a little research on the frisket film. The two major craft stores in my area sell a brand by “grafix”. Tacky and extra tacky. To Charmaine above. Use rubbing alchohol to remove sticker residue. Don’t rub very hard or it may remove your finish.
I have looked to no avail for a “skin” for your faceplate. If anyone finds one let us know. The skins are great for the exterior surface and keyboard.

sorry, im just a kid but i got my laptop last year and there is a sticker on it just beside the touchpad, i peeled it off last night, and it didn’t go so well because it is still sticky today. how do i remove the stickyness? I’m so stupid. oh, and i got rust on my speakers just like yours but i cant have it HP to do it for me because i dont have time. How do i do it myself? does it work on yours because we have the same laptop. please help me. can g-mask fix the rust?
