pressure! just kiddin. seriously though, thank you very much for the trust. trust is like a stock -- risky, volatile, but the returns can be great. (argh..i'm getting too much of that stock market stuff into my mind..) :P

Lex,

Re. Karl Marx's writings, I remember having read a lot of his stuff back in college Philosophy (was an Econ major, but took a ton of Philosophy courses as a minor and, well, just in case I decide to--or have to--change my area of study).

Re your Stimulus-Response argument, I would tend to agree. I think subconsciously, I may have been seeking out people that way (thru blog posts). So the reaction (both mine and other people's) are, indeed, deliberate. But what's serendipitous (Wow! Thanks for adding to my vocab, Ia!) about it is not fate, but the way things turned out quite unexpectedly, or at least far from my conscious intentions.

Ia,

... over the past couple of years ...

I think I should make a correction. On hindsight, I remember it's only been a year since I first met you guys. Seemed such a long time ago (maybe all that work made me age so quickly).

Thanks for the trust, too. I like working on the basis of trust. It's great working with you!

Stimulus-Response, that's how I see serendipity to be. In each and every article some will react in a good way, some in a not so good way. Even the act of ignoring it is a response.
As to how many will be taking a reaction (not merely ignoring) will depend a lot on how interesting and article is. What usually captures a good response is when a reader is able to relate to the article.
Have you come across with the phylosophy of Karl Marx the "Dialectic Materialism". One of the angles espoused by this principle is "men creates history" because according to him the actions and/or ideas of men become the stimulus for other to react which in turn create/s event/s which form part of history.
As long as an article is able to solicit a reaction, good or bad, is far from being a mere coincidence or sheer fate. An article is an intentional creation. Reactions to it is, therefore, deliberate not fate.
WOW kaya ko pala ang ganitong reaction hehehehe.
