mr. J, i already have router 4-port and a cable wire but we don’t know how to make connections. We’re 3 who’ll be sharing for just one dsl, I am 30-meter away from my aunt’s house where the dsl was being connected and the other one is about 5-meter away, and we really don’t know how to do it. Can you give me some brief details pls……

@Lani, I don’t think so. While it used to be that people can share usernames (and therefore those with lower plan subscriptions can connect at higher speeds), your bayantel line won’t be able to connect via DSL if it doesn’t have provisioning for DSL in the first place. This means Bayantel would need to activate DSL on your line (or something to that effect) before you can even login via PPP.

Does your aunt live anywhere near your place? If she’s just a neighbor, then perhaps you can try using a WiFi router to share the connection. Just be sure both ends are in range.

Actually, the steps I listed in the first few lines are the “secret” to getting faster speeds.

hi mr. J. wanna ask this question: if my aunt subscribes to bayantel dsl 1199, is it possible for me to share or use her username and password to my own pc (without using any gadget or cable connection, just entering her username and password?). pls help me….tnx!

I read from bayan forum that you need to add @sod after your username.

You can either try Globeliness in QC or Bayantel.
Globeliness has the best package in town right now compare to Bayantel.
