Slideshow suicide

Do you really need a slideshow?
Kathy Sierra writes on what you need to know before resorting to that
all-too-required Powerpoint (or KeyNote) slideshow the next time you
find the need to impress.
I remember that Powerpoint slideshows were a meeting staple during my days with Government.
Yeah, they were boring, but we had to present information in ways
easily digestible by the ever-so-busy bureaucrats (and we did always
attempt to highlight only the favorable details).
Do you really need a slideshow?
Sometimes. But most of the time, probably not.
