It used to be that Sun Cellular’s

signal at home was at about half-strength, and that the indoor signal

at Caren’s grandmother’s house in Sikatuna (an adjacent village) was

nil.  Now it’s the opposite.  I get strong signal there and

very spotty coverage at home.

I’ve been joking around that Sun’s cellsite must have shifted to cover

more toward that direction.  At first I thought this was brought

about by the torrential rainstorms that the onset of this year’s rainy

season has brought about.

Caren and I use our Sun prepaid phone as our primary lines, especially

with the cheap calls –flat sun-to-sun unlimited calling/SMS rate of

PhP 350/mo or PhP 100/week (or approximately US$ 6.36 or US$ 1.81,

respectively).

Now I’m not finding it funny at all.

Starstruck? Let's go star tripping.
