Got the (rare) opportunity to meet Jhet Torcelino-van Ruyven, author of uber-inspirational The Tale of Juliet yesterday afternoon and this morning. It sure feels different when you’re in the presence of success-driven people like her.
Basically, the book–her story–is about the remarkable story of one woman’s rise from poverty to prosperity.
I asked her what drives her to do what she does, and what she feels now
that she’s successful in the sense that other people just get to dream
about. She says she has a powerful urge to pay it forward, hence the
book, and hence the inspirational and motivational
activities/seminars/speeches she’s been doing around the world.
Check out her sites:
She will be returning to Canada this weekend for a book signing in Vancouver on October 15. Be there and get to meet a great person!
I’ll be writing more about my experiences reading her book.
Jhet, if you’re reading this, thanks for the book (especially for that great dedication)!
