Vote padding and shaving?

INSIDE PCIJ has an interesting writeup on The Lanao del Sur vote. A blow-by-blow account, if you may, including snippets of the coversations allegedly between the President and the Comelec commissioner in question, as well as copies of the pertinent documents.  And, oh, the numbers.

Documents from Namfrel’s chapter in Lanao del Sur illustrate the extent of the alleged vote-padding and shaving.

I know the country is in a mess with the destabilization all the recent

issues had been causing.  But if the question is the right of

certain parties to govern what is supposedly a democratic institution,

then the people have the right to know exactly what the parties

involved are up to.

I’ll leave it to you, dear readers, to do the thinking.
