Thanks to Steve Rubel of Micro Persuasion, I’m now on Yahoo! 360. 

This new offering by one of the more prominent web portals around is

supposed to be a cross between a social networking tool and a bloging

service.  Let’s see what this baby has to offer.  According

to initial reviews by Steve,

the blogging feature of the service is more for newbies, and not for

the more advanced personal publishers, due to lack of customization

features.


For me, that leaves the social networking aspect to explore.  I

simply cannot live with a weblogging service that lacks oomph or at

least ability to implement third-party add-ons.


Given the large subscriber-base of Yahoo!, this may be a solid

competitor to the other more established social networking sites, such

as Friendster.
