12Angelo! You have had too much sorry lately, as well as joy for the precious life that entered your life, even if temporary. My thoughts are with you and your family. Don’t be strong. Cry, feel the pain, and remember the joy, and hold each memory as precious. They only come once, no matter what the future holds. Treasure them all, pain and joy.

Naks, product placement pa. But it’s true! I don’t give up chocolate for anyone unless I’m really thankful for something they did. I denied my own son a right to my Mrs. Field’s Rocky Mountain Mogul bar! LOL

27angelo and caren,
i feel your pain—i know my pain is not even an iota of what you feel as Joseph Michael’s parents. i know it is unconsolable.
but i have to be strong for you, i have to be strong for your siblings. it is painful—even if we know he is already in heaven, we still want Michael to be amongst us.
grieve, if you must, but you have to slowly bounce back—for the sake of Pia and Cate.
it hurts, anak, it really hurts. let the Lord’s loving embrace envelope you, envelope all of us.
thanks, Baby Joseph Michael, for the happiness you gave us, though brief.
we love you, angelo and caren
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS

66HE took Baby Joseph Michael through Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, which takes the life of 1 infant (1-12 months) per hour in the USA, also has been known to be the cause of death of infants worldwide. We do not know HIS plans for the family—we can only try to accept in bling faith. LORD, please show Angelo and Caren (and all of us who love them) the WAY. Please make it easier for them, help them through their recovery, and bless our families.
Wake: Resurrection Chapel, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, next to Claret School, QC (Mahinhin St., UP Village, Diliman QC)
Thank you
To all of you, who have taken some time out to share our grief, said their prayers, consoled us, comforted us, were in blog silence, and one way or another were with us in thoughts, in prayers, sent text, e-mail messages—THANK YOU.
To our relatives who made it easier for us—physically, financially, spiritually, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks so much for your love.

Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Saturday, 6 October, after which we bring his body to its final resting place at the Himlayang Pilipino, Tandang Sora, QC.

101For Joseph Michael:
“Sing, o son of Zion,
Shout, o child of Mine,
Rejoice with all your heart and soul and might,
For you are finally home…
Every tear you cried dried in the palm of My hand,
Every lonely hours by My side
Every loved one lost, every river crossed,
Every moment, every hour was pointing to this day,
I’ve been longing for this day…
I’ve been waiting for the day when at last I get to say,
‘My child, you are finally home.’ ” – The Martyr’s Song, Todd Agnew
I’m really sorry for your loss. My prayers are with Joseph Michael and your family. God loves you.

102I’m one of your many readers but haven’t commented until now. I just like to say that I share in your family’s loss even if we’re complete strangers. I’ve known of some friends who never even got the chance to hold their babies alive. Be thankful for the one month and 13 days he’s been with you. The pain and the loss will always be there but it’s true, God can heal all wounds. Rest in the thought that he is in God’s loving hands and that it’s not really goodbye but more of a ” see you later” to which we can all look forward to later in life. Rest assured he is happy and loved where he is right now.

We can only wait for time to heal all wounds and remain trustful that we have a loving God whose plans we can never fully understand but who can only give us good things.
